Welcome to Olde Tyme Quilting we are a full service quilt shop in Walnut,  Iowa. Owner Julia Bryan specializes in covering your Quilt back with over 100 bolts of 108" backing to choose from. Our shop offers over 1,400 bolts of fabrics, quilt books, patterns and notions. We also do machine quilting with a variety of quilt patterns to choose from. Also available are gift certificates for a special friend. We are a small but friendly shop and we invite you to come visit us in Walnut, Iowa. We are located on I-80 exit 46 go south about 1.2 miles on the left side of the street next to the U.S Post office. We are open Monday thou Saturday 10am-5pm. Closed Sundays, Thanksgiving and Christmas

Walnut is know as the Antique Capital of Iowa. We have several antique shops in town. You must visit Roberts Bakery they are open Tuesday thru Sunday. There are two restaurants Aunt B's and the Villager the food is great at both places. In June on Fathers Day weekend the town has its annual Antique Walk. Venders come from all over and set up along the streets, its a great time to come and enjoy this friendly town. Walnut also has there Christmas Walk weekend in November starting the day after Thanksgiving. These are two great events to attend.
